American Dynamics Flight Systems (ADFS) unveiled its newest product, an aerodynamic rotating launcher at the Unmanned Aircraft Systems conference in San Diego. ADFS president Wayne Morse remarked, "This launcher is the way to get the APKWS missile system onto UAVs. This is a huge step toward lowering the collateral damage that has been reported in Afghanistan. This launcher also allows for the mission to be completed much more economically."
The conference, which spanned 2 days, was organized by the Technology Training Corporation.
